A fresh and juicy Gamay from the Savoie, with the emphasis on crunchy red fruit and a lovely acidity
A wine with a beautiful purple colour. Fresh nose of intense red fruits. On the palate: strawberry, raspberry and red currant, combined with floral notes. It goes perfectly with cold meats, red and white meats, non-spicy cheeses, couscous, rabbit, lasagna, beans with blood sausage, and light cheeses.
Our wine estate of 11 ha of vines is a family property founded in 1950 in the heart of the commune of Apremont. It is located between the combe de Savoie and the cluse de Chambéry, at the end of the Chartreuse of the Chartreuse mountain range, at the foot of Mont Granier. It is by its landslide in 1248 that this micro-climate was born so authentic. The terroir is composed of a "clay-limestone" texture that is suitable for the cultivation of the Jacquère, the grape variety of our main appellation: Apremont. All our grapes are made with love. They are the fruit of a rigorous and persevering work and persevering work, from the cultivation of the vine to the bottling. Each year of production is different. Despite this, we try, by our increased knowledge of the plots of land and by our generational know-how our generational know-how, to find a regularity of our products while valuing and preserving the terroir.
