An open nose with notes of red fruit. On the palate, good acidity and raspberry aromas are accompanied by light tannins.
Beautiful red colour, with subtle red fruit aromas (raspberry, wild strawberry), with some floral notes (hyacinth, violet). Nicely round on the palate, this Brouilly with its melt-in-the-mouth tannins is perfect to drink now. Serve at 17 degrees with red meat.
Located in the small town of Denice, between Mâcon-sur-Saone and Lyon, Manoir du Carra dates back to 1850 and has passed on from father to son for five generations. Now owned by Jean-Noël Sambardier and his wife, who run the vineyards alongside their sons, the 30 hectares of vineyards sit on the north-south axis between Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages.
