A blend of gently sloping plots of land with a south-western exposure. A frank and pleasant wine from the southernmost appellation of the Northern Rhône. Open nose of fresh fruits, mirabelle plum and peach, citrus fruits, candied lemons and gunflint. Well-balanced mouth on a softness and a nice mineral tension.
About The Producer Yves Cuilleron
Yves Cuilleron is a great winemaker from the Northern Rhône. It is partly thanks to him that the region's wines have returned to the forefront. His estate, created in 1920 by his grandfather, now covers ninety hectares, notably in the Saint-Joseph, Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie appellations. In addition to being a true enthusiast, Yves Cuilleron passed on his experience to the new generation of winegrowers. Like the man, his wines are full of finesse and elegance. If you can't meet the man, don't hesitate to try his wonderful wines.
