Fine and elegant on the nose, carrying hints of red fruit. On the palate, the wine strikes a delicate balance between the fruit and the lightness of the tannins. Delightful raspberry and cherry aromas.
Our Sancerre Red has a nose of blackcurrant and a palate of ripe red fruit (cherry and cherry stone). There's a pleasant balance struck between the tannins and the roundness on the finish.
Situated in Chavignol, a small hamlet a few kilometers from Sancerre, Claire and Raphaël operate a family estate situated in the heart of the village, at the foot of Côte des Monts Damnés. 25% of their estate is planted with Pinot Noir to produce their Sancerre Rouge and Sancerre Rosé, while the remaining 75% is Sauvignon Blanc, which is used to produce their Sancerre Blanc.
