Incredibly juicy and brimming with sun-drenched red fruit flavours like red cherry, plum and ripe strawberry. Letting Grenache Noire shine and offering a great easygoing wine in the glass.
223 derives from the grape growth cycle. Exactly 223 days have passed from the flowering to the harvest of the Grenache grapes. Overt and spicy aromas with a hint of white pepper, the palate is concentrated with ripe black cherry fruits and liquorice intensity. The varietal character shines through with an underlay of garrigue and a spicy herb finish.
Blessed by their location, in the heart of the Languedoc, with a broad array of local and international grape varieties, climates and terroirs, LGI Wines, created in 1999 has become the leading French tailor made wine creator. After Alain Grignon retired in 2013, Xavier Roger and Cédric Duquenoy took over the helm and keep crafting unique French wines from Languedoc to Gascony.
