Where I Come From…

My name is Guillaume Masson, I’m 29 years old and I come from Theys – a little village in the Alps between Grenoble and Chambéry.

What I Do At LVG…

Together with Amanda, I’m responsible for sourcing new clients, building and maintaining client relationships, managing wine tastings and staff training.

My Background…

I have a degree in Commerce from the University Savoie Mont Blanc and a French Sommelier Degree from IMT Grenoble

I have worked in various capacities across the wine industry – in vineyards, for wine merchants and as a sommelier in top London restaurants.

My Goal at LVG…

To enjoy my job every day, to have fun with LVG team, to provide an excellent level of service and create results for my clients.

What I Enjoy Most About The Job So Far…

I always really enjoy discovering new wine producers and new wines. Oh and I quite enjoy the tasting process too!

What I Get Up To Away From Work…

I like traveling the world and sport, particularly skiing, rugby, and hiking. I also really enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

My Perfect Evening…

Good food shared in good company, on a beautiful summer’s evening with an amazing red wine…

My Secret Karaoke Song…

Les Sunlights des Tropiques” by Gilbert Montagné. Please don’t tell anyone!! 😉

(Nice choice Guillaume – looking forward to seeing you do that at this year’s Christmas party! – Ed)

The First Thing I Would Buy If I Won The Lottery…

A round-the-world plane ticket for sure.

The Best Wines In The World Are…

French of course… only joking!
