Meet the team : Izzy

Hi, I’m Izzy, I am 20 years old, and I come from Leeds in the UK. I study International Management and French at the University of Bath and I am currently on my placement year, working as the operations intern for LVG until the summer!

What is your role at LVG?

Essentially, I am Jane’s right-hand man! I am here to support the operations team wherever I can, this includes inputting & preparing orders, taking payments and speaking to clients.

How do you unwind?

I am a big lover of sport as I play hockey and squash at university as well as doing Karate. I love to ski (and snowboard too) so being so close to the slopes this year is exciting and I can’t wait for the season to start. I have been skiing

I also love to travel, my favourite place I’ve been to is Madagascar as the landscape and wildlife were incredible.

What is your favorite wine?

Since I am very new to Le Verre Gourmand I haven’t had the opportunity to try many wines…yet. I love red wine, so I think I’d have to say my favourite so far has been the Château Montfrin Désir Rouge, which we tried on the team away days.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Honestly, I have no idea. I really want to travel after university, I’d especially love to visit Eastern Europe and Asia. I’m not sure what I want to do but I’m grateful to have bits of experience in different sectors which will hopefully give me some idea of what I want to do.
