What They Say
A deep golden yellow animated by a multitude of extremely fine bubbles that nourish a min cord of foam on the surface. It offers aromas of vanilla, nougat, mirabelle and peach. At aeration the expression is enriched with woody notes, pepper and pastry cream. After ten minutes in the flute, the wine does not sag and thus shows its beautiful conservation potential. It is a nose arrived at the beginning of maturity, expressing itself in a register «pastry» attractive and increasingly marked with aeration. The attack is supple and the effervescence seems immediately melted in the body of the wine. The latter offers a beautiful consistency, concentration. The acidity is present but is discreet. The texture is smooth and very balanced. The finish is structured and very long. It prolongs the sensation of finesse produced by the acidity by doubling with a calcareous and refreshing minerality.
About The Producer Champagne Bauchet
Since the 1920’s, the Bauchet family has cultivated their own vineyards, harvested their own grapes and produced their own champagne. Working from father to son, the four generations of artisan winemakers have worked their unique plots of land, that equate to a grand total of 34 hectares, with purpose and passion. Real estate in Champagne, the vastly broad and rich mosaic of vines spread over different Crus of the appellation, allowing the Chardonnay and Pinots Noirs to be high quality champagne which carry an authenticity and elegance that reflects the personality of their origin.
