What We Say
This Petit Chablis is characterized by aromas of green apple, lemon, and minerals. On the palate, it is fresh, lively, with balanced acidity. It pairs well with seafood and light dishes.
What They Say
Our Petit Chablis are lively, with plenty of freshness, and very enjoyable. We think they are best drunk within 5 years, so their youthful qualities can be fully appreciated.
About The Producer Domaine Roy
Our estate is a family business deeply rooted in the village of Fontenay-pres-Chablis. In 1810, our ancestor Pierre ROY was a winemaker in Fontenay, followed by his son with the same name, and then by his son Appolinaire. It was Fernand ROY (born in 1903), the founder of our estate, who expanded our property and initiated what we operate today. Our 20-hectare operation, exclusively situated on the right bank of the Serein River, enables us to produce all four Chablis appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premiers Crus "Le Fourchaume" and "Le Vaulorent," as well as Chablis Grands Crus "Les Bougros" and "Les Preuses."
