What We Say

A superb Côtes-du-Rhône. A complex, fruity nose. Gourmet and elegant on the palate, with aromas of blackcurrant and ripe blackberry.

What They Say

Les Coteaux is such a well made and ‘together’ wine. It is made to enjoy on release but the finely grained tannins are likely to lend longevity so it could be well worth squirreling some away.

About The Producer Boutinot

Tucked away in the hills of the Cairanne village, Domaine Boutinot was established in 2010. Spread across 8 hectares, the vineyard features vines aging roughly 40 to 60 years, which rest on clay-limestone soils with rolled pebbles. The vineyard features 4 flagship grape varieties known to the region: Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Carignan Noir, which achieved Cru status within Cairanne Appellation. Their philosophy centers on working naturally, they manually harvest their grapes and use natural yeast during fermentation.
