About The Producer Chateau Cheval Blanc

Château Cheval Blanc, located in Saint-Émilion, is a legendary estate in the appellation. Located on the edge of Pomerol, on terroirs with significant proportions of gravel, the estate has an atypical vinyeard with a majority of Cabernet Franc. Owned by Bernard Arnaud and Albert Frère, despite being one of only four estates to have been ranked first grand cru classified A in the 2012 Saint-Émilion wine rankings, the estate has decided to leave the classification in 2022.
