About The Producer Mas Costeplane
Located in Languedoc, a few kilometers from Pic Saint-Loup, on the edge of the Duché d'Uzès appellation (Rhône Valley). Our vines are planted on an isolated plateau in clay-limestone soil. The Mas and its vines are isolated in the middle of hills covered with scrubland where pines, holm oaks and garrigue. When the private cellar was rebuilt in 1989, the estate switched to organic viticulture. Convinced by the taste quality of biodynamic wines, we have been Demeter certified since 2011. Operated until 2018 by the Coste family, among the precursors of organic viticulture, the history of the estate continues after their retirement with the takeover by Loïc Manchec in March 2019."
