Biodynamic, 100 year-old family-run domaine in the Mâconnais. Their Viré-Clessé is intense with notes of white flowers and citrus fruit. Lively and rich on the palate, with herbal aromas and exotic fruit. Finishes long and energetic.
The Viré Clessé terroir has a green-gold color. The clay-limestone soils plowed regularly reveal the Terroir of Clessé in all its nobility. The nose is very complex and expresses fruit but also minerality. This wine is both round and lively, and will leave you with a long finish revealing subtle nuances of white and exotic fruits.
For several generations, their 10-hectare vineyard has been located on the slopes of the Mâconnais, in the village of Clessé, a small wine-growing commune. In order to bring out the best in the existing terroir, the domaine works all its soils (ploughing) using only products that have been approved for use in Organic Agriculture since 2006. All the care we take with the vines contributes to the development of life in the soil, and to the vineyard-soil balance. They have been Organically certified since 2006 and have been working biodynamically since 2011.
