This Organic Southern Rhone blend is powerful and rich with fine tannins. The sun-baked red and black fruit flavours make for a juicy profile with herbal hints and a long finish.
The 30 year-old vines of Le Fauquet are grown in 'Le Petit Montmirail'; South South West of the famous limestone massif of Les Dentelles de Montmirail. The vines produce a round wine, very fruity with rich aromas. This pure and distinguished wine is made with Grenache and Syrah grape varieties which give it a personality of its own.
While the Fourmont family founded what was initially a farmhouse, the estate has been managed since 1910 by the Combe family. The wines of the Domaine flourish between two prestigious and internationally renowned appellations, Vacqueyras and Gigondas, their vineyard stretches across 37 hectares including 8 grape varieties. They have been practicing organic farming since 2019, aiming to sustain soil life without synthetic pesticides and herbicides, as the family believes in the balance and coherence of this agriculture system.
