NOSE I White flowers, white fruits, acacia BOUCHE I Acacia honey, white flowers, peaches FINAL I Subtle bitterness that comes suddenly after the roundness of the elderberry on the first palate The Elderflower, or Elderflower, reveals scents of white flowers, hints of honey and a long-lasting sweetness in the mouth. The bitterness brought by the quinine comes at the very end. A marvel for aromatic Gins, the Elderflower Tonic gives the Gin Tonic a “candy” side. In Cognac Tonic, it enhances the Cognac grape. You can also taste it in Calvados Tonic, the apple marrying perfectly with the elderberry.
