Krug Grande Cuvée was born from the imagination of a man, Joseph Krug, who dreamed of offering the best champagne possible each year, regardless of the vagaries of the weather. Our House therefore pays tribute to its vision by offering, each year, a new edition of Krug Grande Cuvée, the most generous expression of champagne.
About The Producer Krug
Maison Krug was founded in November 1843, at the end of the harvest season. We can therefore assume that it was in 1844 that the first Krug harvest took place, from which Joseph Krug first realized his dream, thus giving birth to Champagne Krug Grande Cuvée. The first reinterpretation of Krug Grande Cuvée - the first Edition - was thus created around the harvest of 1845. Every year, only once a year, we create a new Edition of Krug Grande Cuvée, offering a unique blend and bottling.
