From Australia, this velvety Shiraz reveals intense aromas of red and black fruits, enhanced with a touch of spiciness. The smooth tannins give it a lovely texture, making it an opulent and generous wine.
Rich and lifted aromas of Satsuma plum, mulberry and floral notes mingle with sweet spice, chocolate and savoury hints. Rich, plumy fruit and sweet spice balanced by soft velvety tannins. A complex, medium to full bodied wine showing hints of mocha, bramble and vanilla which flow through to the lengthy, fruity, peppery and spicy finish.
With its history dating back to 1842, Langmeil is one of the historic estates in the Barossa Valley, committed to making premium Barossa wine of the highest quality and they believe the secret lies within the vineyard. Biodiversity thrives amongst their dry grown vines to ensure each site is in balance with nature. Allowing such harmony with the natural environment is a responsibility they take seriously as custodians of the land These vineyards, along with other family-owned sites in the cooler Eden Valley and southern grounds of Lyndoch are the foundation to all the wines bearing the Langmeil name.
