The skies the limit with this intensely Italian Alpine wine. Think red Burgundy with Italian sunshine.
Ruby red color with garnet highlights. Strawberry, soft herb and slight red grapefruit nose. Medium to full bodied on the palate with classic pinot noir fruit. Mouth watering and well integrated acid palate and soft, supple tannins on the pleasantly lingering finish.
The first domaine of "Les Crêtes" was in Aymavilles. The domaine has been managed by the Charrère family for the last 5 generations, and is located in the Aosta valley, the smallest Italian wine growing region (with a total surface area measuring just 330 hectares). The vines grown between 600 and 800 meters of altitude, over six different municipalities close to the Mont Blanc.
