A Barbera of incredible elegance, vinified in the Barolo appellation, with pronounced yet very fine tannins, refreshing acidity, and exceptional complexity and length.
The wood imparts a soft boisé note, never too strong, and increases the wines richness. This wine achieves a beautiful balance as no flavor overpowers the others, rather they all blend together in one uniquely pleasant experience. The Barbera d’Alba, Peiragal reaches its maturity after 2 years from the harvest and the plateau of maturity is between 2 and 5 years.
Barolo wine was created right here, in the historic cellars of Marchesi di Barolo, in the first half of the 19th century! Today, the Abbona Family, with Ernesto and Anna, and their children Valentina and Davide, are the sixth generation to continue the winemaking work that began more than two centuries ago.
