This Austrian orange wine is made by macerating white grapes with their skins for an extended period. The result is a wine with a characteristic amber color and rich aromas of dried fruits, citrus, and spices. On the palate, it is structured with light tannins and a lovely acidity, creating a unique experience for fans of unconventional wines.
These two grapes fit perfect for fermenting on the skins. Deep orange color; floral (rose)combined with herbaceous notes; fresh and full bodied with a long finish.
A relatively young winery of the southern Seewinkel region in the Austrian state of Burgenland, which produced its first drop of wine around the end of the nineties. They do not have a long history and therefore no obligation. Michael wants to move away from the mainstream and produce independent, authentic wines. Organic, sustainable and fair farming is not something he spends a long time talking about – he just does it. True to his motto “No tricks. Just wine.”
