A zingy white wine with refreshing aromas of white stone fruits. On the palate, it offers fruity flavors and balanced acidity. Ideal with various dishes, including seafood, fish, poultry, and hard cheeses.
Clean aroma with average intensity. Citrus and mineral notes. The palate is dry, fresh, light body and medium acidity. Good intensity of flavor, with hints of herbs, a buttery touch and very surprisingly creamy texture.
With its 70 hectares of vineyards, Quinta do Mondego, a family estate located in Nelas, is one of the largest vineyards in this Portuguese wine region. The vineyards thrive in an idyllic setting on the banks of the river which gives the estate its name - Mondego. They produce elegant and traditional wines with indigenous grape varieties. Now, Joana Cunha, the family's daughter and oenologist, has taken over the management of the estate after her experience in Australia and working alongside Francisco Olazabal.
