A wine that combines minerality and freshness with a pleasant roundness and notes of apple, pear, citrus fruits and a saline finish. Pair with shellfish, fish, chicken and paella.
The label for this wine, Puerta Santa, depicts the main door to the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela, the end point for pilgrims completing the Camino and an important attraction in the Rías Baixas region. The wine is a beautiful example of ripe, full bodied Albariño with typical apple, peach and tropical fruit as well as important acidity. It pairs well with all types of seafood as well as creamy chicken dishes.
Morgadio winery is located in the Rías Baixas County subzone, with almost 40 hectares of vineyards of the Albariño variety. Marked Atlantic character and highlighting the minerality of the Galician terroir, located in the Northeast of Spain above Portugal.
