A superbly well crafted Sauvignon blanc from this classic appellation in the Loire Valley. It has racey acidity, citrusy notes and show a grassy backbone with flint undertones.
Freshness and minerality of flint complemented by the expression of white flowers and citrus limestones. Very fine, the bouquet is elegant and long in the mouth.
The Vacheron family settled in Sancerre at the beginning of the 20th century. They created their estate, which consists of roughly 40 hectares, and began practicing polyculture farming. Jean-Dominique Vacheron and his cousin Jean-Laurent created a cultural revolution with their farming techniques. Since 2006, they have been certified as a biodynamic winery, and produce no less than 6 parcel based white wine cuvées. Their blends serve as a reminder that Sancerre boasts a wide variety of soils, having a notable impact on each grape.
