The Mac-Talla line draws its inspiration from the complex character of the island of Islay. With a name that means "echo" in Gaelic, this brand perfectly reflects a land that is battered by hostile weather and geological conditions, and yet still so rich. With over five generations of experience in the business, the Morrison family name is one of the most respected in the world of whisky. Their passion is steeped in the heritage of a family that also sought to expand its activities by recruiting new talent to take on a new role as independent bottlers. Indeed, after 30 years at the helm of the Bowmore distillery, the family had built a large network of contacts, ensuring access to top-quality resources. But the lure of the stills was irresistible... In 2017, Morrison Distillers returned to its first passion and opened its own distillery, Aberargie Distillery, located in Perth, Scotland. This means we can look forward to some wonderful malt creations in the near future.
