A new label for this 2022 vintage, this wine has an open nose with notes of black fruit. On the palate, we find aromas of jammy black fruit with a spicy edge.
The wine has a deep red colour with purplish reflection. The nose is essentially characterised by red fruit (blackcurrant, raspberry, Kirchée cherry) it has a spicy peppery side with a hint of violet. The palate is intense and persistent.
A young independent estate, the vineyard is located on the slopes of the village of Saint Pierre de Boeuf, an ideal geographical setting for white and red grape varieties. The terroir is exceptional, the grapevines navigate their way through granite pebbles that make up the soil. The challenging conditions bestow the wine with aromatic richness, tannic structure, and a range of subtle fragrances.
