Condrieu is the most famous appellation for wines made from the Viognier grape variety, and this is a fine example. Displaying a rich weightiness with flavours of white fruit and roasted almonds, this wine has a beautiful smooth texture and long finish.
Scents of iris, ripe red fruit such as raspberry. An easydrinking wine with a strong character. Aromas of iris and ripe red fruit such as rasberry. Great for every and any occasion!
François Villard, a self-taught individual with a mischievous and cheerful disposition, has established himself as one of the greatest winemakers in the northern Rhône. His status as a leader is attributed to his passion for excellence, the land, and a strong intuition. At François Villard’s vineyard, the harvests are always focused and late, aiming for perfect ripeness (but never over ripeness), resulting in some of the finest Côte-Rôtie and Saint-Joseph wines in the region. A true enthusiast, he is also one of the three founders of Vins de Vienne.
Wine Spectator: 94/100 (Millesime/ Vintage 2012)
