Selection of Condrieu parcels on the biotite granite terroir. On this soil, Viognier expresses itself with a lot of minerality and elegance. "Les Chaillets" is the local name for the terraces. Nose of stone fruits (apricot, peach), honey and flowers. Some notes of sweet spices and grilled dried fruits. Rich and greedy mouth. The slender finish is marked by the mineral freshness of the granite and gives great depth to this wine.
About The Producer Yves Cuilleron
Yves Cuilleron is a great winemaker from the Northern Rhône. It is partly thanks to him that the region's wines have returned to the forefront. His estate, created in 1920 by his grandfather, now covers ninety hectares, notably in the Saint-Joseph, Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie appellations. In addition to being a true enthusiast, Yves Cuilleron passed on his experience to the new generation of winegrowers. Like the man, his wines are full of finesse and elegance.
