A soft and juicy Loire Cabernet Franc bursting with redcurrants, cranberries and a dash of crushed pepper on the finish.
Our Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil reveals a rich and complex nose very marked by its terroir. Its great freshness offers aromas of redcurrants and raspberries with very fine tannins.
Since 1885, 6 generations have shaped the history of the Bougrier Family. It all started in 1885, when Achille Guénaut-Cousin discovered the Hauts Lieux plateau in Touraine in the town of Saint Georges sur Cher. Passionate about this terroir and the potential of its wines, he never left it again to create Domaine Guénault... Since his arrival at the head of the house in 1988, Noël Bougrier, fifth generation, has been able to give a new dimension at the family home. First of all, it made it possible to realize the dream of previous generations by expanding the coverage of the house to the entire Loire Valley from Sancerre to the Pays Nantais with the successive creations of our 3 cellars: Les Caves de la Tourangelle in Touraine in 1995, the Caves de l'Angevine in Anjou in 2000 then the Caves de la Nantaise in Muscadet in 2008.
