Domaine les Cretes get remarkably full body from grapes grown at altitudes of up to 1000 metres. Mountain vineyards equal alpine freshness, in this case balanced by dark stone fruit, violets and easy-going structure.
Colour is a violet hue with ruby highlights. Fruity but delicate nose, with raspberry and slightly spicy aromas. On the palate, an elegant and balanced structure with a pleasantly fresh finish.
Located in the heart of the Alps, nestled among the “four giants” – Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn (Cervin), Monte Rosa (Mont Rose), and the Gran Paradiso – lies the Aosta Valley, the smallest of the Italian regions. This area is ideal for the vineyards as they stretch along the central valley and rise near the mountains. Made up of 33 hectares lies the Domaine des Crêtes, they produce wines that are indulgent, fresh, and elegant. The Estate’s reputation extends far beyond the Aosta Valley, and some of their cuvées are sought after by sommeliers all over the world.
