Ruby red with purple hues. The scent is fresh, with fruity notes reminiscent of blackberries, red fruit jam, spicy hints of vanilla and toasted hazelnut. The taste is full and rich, with a barely noticeable acidity. The woody note is well mixed with the remaining sensations.
About The Producer Marchesi di Barolo
Barolo wine was created right here, in the historic cellars of Marchesi di Barolo, in the first half of the 19th century! Today, the Abbona Family, with Ernesto and Anna, and their children Valentina and Davide, are the sixth generation to continue the winemaking work that began more than two centuries ago.
