Ruby-coloured with a cherry-brick rim, this finely balanced red wine offers a complex nose of raspberries, stewed plums, and spices with vanilla notes. Rich and delicate on the palate with great depth and a lingering smooth finish. The red wine goes well with red meats dishes of all kinds, game birds, and also grilled fish dishes.

Bodegas Piqueras is a family winery with a tradition dating back over a hundred years, currently overseen by the fourth generation of winemakers, winegrowers and cellarmen. We make high quality wine, with grape varieties like Garnacha Tintorera and Monastrell long associated with the Almansa Denominación de Origen (D.O.). Our estates are in the vicinity of Almansa Castle, with vines up to 90 years old that produce grapes of high concentration and high quality, perfect for making red and white wines that are highly expressive and unique.
